Leaked Screenshots Show Apple Music On Android
Leaked screenshots of Apple Music on Android have been posted online, raising hopes for an Android release coming soon.
Apple said at the launch of Apple Music in June that we would be getting an Android app for their streaming service by the end of year and new screenshots appear to confirm that. German website Mobile Geeks posted an article last week with screenshots of Apple Music being used on an Android device.
Mobile Geeks say that the application is currently in the preliminaries of beta testing. According to the article the Android app will come with all of the main features of the iOS app bringing the entire Apple Music catalogue as well as their global, online radio station Beats 1.
Surprisingly the Android app will also come with some new features that aren’t included in the iOS app. A screenshot of the Apple Music menu shows that you will be able to customise the size of the cache you want to dedicate to offline songs. Apple has also redesigned the app to be more in line with the interface of Android apps by including slide-out sidebars and the classic “hamburger menu”.

Apple have only gone so far as to say the the Android app will be coming in Fall however with the year quickly coming to a close and with the release of these screenshots we can expect to hear something from Apple in the coming month.
Android users won’t be able to sign up for a three-month free trial for Apple Music but the subscription fee will be the same: $9.99 a month or $14.99 a month for a family of up to six people.
